Computer Science Student + Data Center TechnicianF
Building Linux infrastructure and web projects that are designed to ship.
Computer Science student with hands-on data center operations experience in server deployment, PXE imaging, Linux administration, and cloud infrastructure. Based between Cranford, NJ and New Haven, CT.
How this site runs
- Edge Cloudflare handles DNS, CDN, TLS, and balancing.
- Origins Two GCP VMs run Nginx in separate availability zones.
- Application Astro ships as a static build with low operational overhead.
- Delivery GitHub Actions builds and deploys to both servers on every push.
About
From data center operations to software delivery.
I started with physical infrastructure work and carried those habits into software: keep systems simple, deploy them cleanly, and make them maintainable.
CS student at SCSU and Data Center Technician at InterServer. Experience in rack-and-stack, PXE boot imaging, Linux administration, and hardware troubleshooting in a live production environment.
That background changed how I evaluate software work: not only what gets built, but how it is deployed, operated, and kept reliable over time.
Where I am headed
Looking for junior software, infrastructure, and platform roles where application work overlaps with Linux, deployment, and operational ownership.

Data Center Technician
Live data center work: rack-and-stack, OS installs (Linux, Windows, Proxmox), PXE imaging, hardware diagnostics, and deployment documentation.

Sept. 2023 – May 2027
Computer Science Student
Building skills in software engineering, operating systems, and networking. Active member of the university football program.
How I work
Infrastructure-first mindset
I prefer simple, reliable systems with clear deployment paths. I care about how software fails, how it is maintained, and how its infrastructure can stay lean without sacrificing reliability.
Certifications
What that looks like in practice
- Rack-and-stack and server deployment experience
- Linux administration and troubleshooting background
- Self-hosted systems for development, backups, and web app hosting
Architecture
A portfolio site backed by real deployment decisions.
The application layer is intentionally simple. The interesting work is in the deployment model: edge routing, redundant origins, automated delivery, and a low-cost footprint.
Why it stands out
Instead of stopping at a static frontend, this site is deployed across two origin VMs with health-checked failover and automated delivery.
Projects
Projects that connect software work to operations and deployment.
Each case study focuses on the decisions, constraints, and responsibilities behind the work, not just the finished interface.
Featured case study
Portfolio Infrastructure Deployment
A static Astro portfolio deployed across two GCP VMs behind Cloudflare load balancing, with automated delivery from GitHub Actions. Built to show software delivery, not just frontend implementation.
Highlight
Keeps the application simple while making the infrastructure decisions visible.
Impact
Automated deployment to two GCP origins behind Cloudflare health-checked failover.
Constraint
Designed to stay low-cost while still showing redundancy, deployment automation, and basic operational discipline.
Case study
Hostlet Self-Hosted Deployment Panel
A Rust and Next.js-backed deployment control panel for shipping GitHub projects to Docker on a self-hosted machine, with live logs, rollback, encrypted app settings, Cloudflare public URLs, and opt-in auto-redeploy.
Highlight
Turns a homelab server into a practical GitHub-to-Docker deployment platform.
Impact
Consolidates app deployment, logs, rollback, public URL management, and backup commands into one self-hosted workflow.
Constraint
Scoped deliberately as a local-machine MVP so reliability, cleanup, and security could be handled before remote agent support.
Case study
Self-Hosted Linux Server
A self-hosted Proxmox environment used for remote development, backups, and lightweight service hosting. Built to keep Linux administration, virtualization, storage, and secure remote access skills in regular use.
Highlight
Turns home hardware into an environment for ongoing Linux and infrastructure practice.
Impact
Provides a real system for remote development, snapshots, backups, and operational troubleshooting.
Constraint
Built on spare hardware, so reliability and recovery have to be engineered rather than assumed.
Case study
InterServer Data Center Operations
Hands-on production experience as a Data Center Technician at InterServer performing rack-and-stack, PXE imaging, server deployment, hardware troubleshooting, and infrastructure support in a live data center.
Highlight
Production data center work that made infrastructure responsibilities concrete.
Impact
Supported repeatable server deployment, imaging, and hardware troubleshooting in an environment serving real customer systems.
Constraint
The work had to be accurate under production conditions where mistakes affect live infrastructure.
Skills
Skills used to build, deploy, and maintain systems.
These are the tools and workflows I use across application work, Linux administration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
Deploy and Operate
Provision Linux systems, serve applications, and keep deployments understandable and reliable.
Build and Ship
Frontend and scripting work tied directly to deployment, automation, and maintainable delivery.
Troubleshoot and Maintain
Operational habits shaped by real systems work, from hardware issues to deployment workflows.
Looking for early-career software, infrastructure, and platform opportunities.
Most interested in roles where software delivery overlaps with Linux, deployment, and systems ownership.
